E. Christopher Cornell
E. Christopher Cornell is a multifaceted individual who has captivated audiences with his vibrant and engaging writing for over two decades. As a poet, educator, and esteemed event host, Cornell delivers electrifying performances that keep listeners at the edge of their seats.
Graduating from Clark Atlanta University, Cornell's journey in event promotion and hosting began during his tenure as the Student Government President. Fuelled by his passion for creating unforgettable experiences, he established E Period, LLC, a company specializing in organizing special events and marketing campaigns. E. Period has gained a reputation for providing top-notch entertainment to diverse venues such as colleges, universities, churches, community centers, festivals, and conventions.
Cornell's expertise as a host extends to both local and international events. Some of his notable hosting engagements include Hollalujah: A Clean Comedy Experience in Atlanta, Recess Getaways in Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, Black Couple Getaways in the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic, GFxcursions in Antigua, S.M.A.R.T. Thursdays in Atlanta, Wednesday Wind Down in Atlanta, and the DeKalb Outdoor Concert Series in Decatur, among a plethora of others.
Throughout his career, E. Christopher Cornell has garnered numerous accolades, earning features in renowned publications such as the L.A. Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, and Rolling Out. He has also been a frequent guest on various radio and television programs, including appearances on MTV alongside Grammy Award-winning rap group OutKast. Cornell was featured on Robert Townsend's "Spoken" and BET's Lyric Café, further solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
In recent times, Cornell expanded his repertoire by launching "E Period Speaks," a platform dedicated to public speaking and presentation coaching. Always committed to serving his community, he previously served as a Public Speaking Instructor at Spelman College and as the Director of Learning and Culture at Leadership for Educational Equity. Cornell is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., initiated at the Alpha Phi Chapter in Fall 1995. Throughout his journey, he draws inspiration from his faith and family, considering them the driving forces that motivate him. Dr. Spencer (Spen Lo) Lodree
Dr. Spencer "SpenLo" Lodree is a dedicated individual who has made significant contributions to both his country and the field of education. After graduating from high school, Spencer chose to serve his country in the United States Navy, where he developed valuable skills and experiences. It was during his time in the Navy that he crossed paths with Kendra Lodree, his future wife, with whom he has been happily married for 25 years. Together, they have raised two accomplished daughters named Cleia and Kenadi.
Following his service in the Navy, Spencer pursued his passion for education. He embarked on a journey that spanned over two decades, during which he played a vital role in shaping the lives of countless students. Spencer's dedication to his craft led him to earn a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership, further enhancing his knowledge and expertise in the field.
Currently, Spencer resides in Houston after spending nearly two decades living in Florida.
He holds the esteemed position of Principal at a middle school in Southwest Houston, where he leads by example and inspires both students and staff alike. As an experienced educator, he brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and innovative ideas to his role, continually striving to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for his students.
In addition to his professional achievements, Spencer is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., a distinguished organization that promotes achievement, brotherhood, and community service. Through his involvement, he has made a significant impact in the lives of others, embodying the values of leadership, scholarship, and service.

Chris Medlow
Chris Medlow is a dedicated professional who has made significant contributions in his career and community. After graduating from Willowridge High School, Chris embarked on a successful journey with UPS, joining the company in 1994. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Houston Area Security Manager, where he plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of operations.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Chris is an active member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He has been deeply involved with the fraternity and currently serves as the audit committee chairman for the local Houston Chapter. Through his involvement, Chris contributes to the growth and development of the organization, promoting its values and objectives.
Furthermore, Chris is a respected member of the Board of Directors for the Airline Improvement District. This organization focuses on enhancing the quality of life for residents within the district, striving to make a positive impact on the community. Chris's dedication to community service and his role on the board exemplify his commitment to improving the lives of others.

Outside of work and academics, Chris finds joy in spending time with his loving wife, Henva, and their three children: Chris (23), Kaleigh (19), and Jackson (16). As a family, they share a passion for travel, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories together. They also actively support their children in their various endeavors, whether it be on the soccer field or basketball court, embracing the importance of family and encouraging their children's growth and achievements.

Velita Moore
Meet Velita, a proud wife and devoted mother to a rising senior at Lamar High School. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a prestigious organization committed to sisterhood, community service, and uplifting women. Velita's educational journey led her to Texas Southern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. Additionally, she pursued her passion for counseling at Prairie View A&M University.
Currently, Velita thrives in her role as a Student Support Manager at Chancellor Elementary School in the Alief Independent School District. She brings her expertise and dedication to creating a supportive environment for students, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and guidance to succeed academically and personally.

Ervin (Erv) Randle
Ervin is a dedicated individual who has successfully pursued multiple career paths while balancing his responsibilities as a loving parent. After completing high school, Ervin decided to follow his passion for hairstyling and obtained his Barber license. He began working as a professional barber, honing his skills and providing exceptional grooming services to his clients.
Simultaneously, Ervin secured employment at UPS, one of the leading global logistics companies, where he currently holds a position. With his strong work ethic and commitment, he has become an invaluable member of the UPS team, contributing to the smooth operation of the company's services.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Ervin finds immense joy and fulfillment in being a parent. He cherishes his role as a father to four wonderful children, including three lovely girls and one adoring boy. Ervin's love and dedication to his children are evident in the way he prioritizes their well-being, guiding them through life's challenges, and celebrating their accomplishments.

Donecia (Neciey) Shelton
Donecia is a remarkable individual who has led an eventful and fulfilling life. Born with a spirit of adventure and a drive to succeed, she embarked on various journeys and accomplishments throughout her life.
At the young age of 22, Donecia became an army wife, supporting her spouse's military career while simultaneously building her own path. Straight out of high school, she pursued her passion for cosmetology and obtained her license. Fueled by ambition and determination, she established her own salon in Germany, where she honed her skills and served her clients for an impressive 17 years. Her dedication and expertise in the field allowed her to retire from the salon business with a sense of fulfillment.
During her husband's military service, Donecia had the opportunity to travel the world. These experiences broadened her horizons and exposed her to diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching her understanding of the world. Additionally, she seized the opportunity to contribute to her community by owning a little league football team while her boys were young. Simultaneously, she pursued her passion for culinary arts, attending culinary school in Austin, Texas, which further expanded her skill set and allowed her to explore her creativity in the kitchen.
In 2015, when her husband retired from the military, Donecia moved back to Fort Bend, specifically Sugar Land, and currently resides in Richmond. Always an entrepreneur at heart, she embarked on another business venture in collaboration with her mother, establishing Gimmie Shugar and More LLC. Specializing as a pastry chef, Donecia delighted her customers with delectable treats and desserts, showcasing her culinary talents.
Never one to rest on her laurels, Donecia decided to explore the world of travel and tourism. Last year, she became a travel professional, leveraging her extensive travel experiences to help others plan their dream vacations. This passion led her to open her own travel agency, Honey B Travel, where she assists clients in creating unforgettable memories.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Donecia cherishes her leisure time. Whether it's sailing on a cruise ship, embarking on new adventures, organizing and hosting parties, or engaging in various crafting activities, she is always seeking new ways to enjoy life. Juliénné (Juno) Smart

Juno is a proud mother to two incredible individuals: her son, Cameron, who is 22 years old, and her son-in-love, Traivon, who is 29. Family is an essential aspect of Juno's life, and their support has been instrumental in her personal and professional journey.
Juno's educational journey began at the University of Houston Main Campus, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Eager to enhance her teaching skills, she went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Currently, Juno serves as a Math Interventionist in the Alief Independent School District (ISD). In this role, she works diligently to support students who require additional assistance with mathematics, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. Her expertise and dedication have made her a respected figure within the school community.
Juno's commitment to math education extends beyond the classroom. For the past five years, she has worked as a math tutor for students ranging from third to eighth grade. By providing personalized instruction and guidance, she has helped numerous young learners develop a solid foundation in mathematics and improve their problem-solving skills.
